A recent study shows that milk for weight loss actually works. Men and women who had recently lost weight had included at least one or the recommended three servings of milk in their daily diet. And although these people had consumed as much, if not more, calories than those who cut dairy off completely, they didn’t have all that energy adding to the luxury of their waistline.

Drinking Milk for Weight Loss

Milk is actually a good way to curb your hunger. A glass of milk when you’re craving for a large burger or pizza or even a hotdog can give you the satisfaction of a full stomach without the guilt that follows afterwards. It also lets you keep that feeling of fullness for at least an hour and a half – or longer if you drink more – without feeling faint or giving you the illusion that you are starving yourself. And with all the energy that comes with milk, there’s no need to worry about adding to all that body fat that keeps showing in all the wrong places because it simply does not do that.

How much Milk do I Drink?

Health experts recommend that people take three servings of fresh milk a day. However, at least one serving is good enough for as long as dairy is included in the diet. Having those guilt-free calories to use for energy will keep you from having to eat too much or wolf down on your food. And since milk is available practically everywhere, this is a very good and cheap weight loss idea for anyone who wants to start living healthy. Instead of non-dairy creamer, why not try milk in your coffee for a start?
